With just over four months to go until the big day, we have a first trailer for Disney's Christmas movie Noelle starring Pitch Perfect's Anna Kendrick.

Directed by Did You Hear About the Morgans? director Marc Lawrence, the movie sees Kendrick portray the titular Noelle Claus, sister to Bill Hader's Nick Claus who's taking over their late father's legendary mantle.

But when Nick goes AWOL shortly before Christmas, Noelle must venture into an alien society (populated by you and me) to find him and take him back to the North Pole in time to deliver the presents.

One of the standout scenes from the trailer witnesses Kendrick's character cozying up inside a supermarket freezer, where a customer introduces her to yoga pants.

"These are my yoghurt pants..." she unconvincingly responds.
