The Phoenix has shared a preview of issue #92 with Digital Spy.
The kids anthology comic has offered a first look at the opening chapter of Dan Boultwood's new Haggis and Quail are on The Trail story.
"A senior moment and a spontaneous elephant ride later, we find our cryptozoologists in Mongolia... but what beastie could be lurking in the desert, waiting to be documented in Haggis's book?" said The Phoenix. "Here's a clue - it hates the colour yellow..."
This week's sandy adventure is accompanied by the final instalment to Zara's Masterpiece, some giant crocodile madness in Bunny vs Monkey, a welsh adventure with Adam Murphy in Corpse Talk, rampaging remotosaurs in Charlie Small, some excellent colouring techniques in Professor Panels' How to Colour Awesome Comics, a final and ferocious battle in Simon Swift, a webbed gallery in Gary's Garden, a goldtastic escape in Useleus and some difficulty with zero gravity in The Dangerous Adventures of Von Doogan.
Boultwood's It Came! miniseries was recently launched by Titan Comics.
Issue #3 of the '50s-inspired sci-fi comedy will arrive next week.
The Phoenix #92 will be released online, through the iPad app and in stores (for £2.99) from tomorrow (October 5).
