The Phoenix has released a preview of issue #90.
The all-ages anthology has shared a sneak peek at the latest chapter of Zak Simmonds-Hurn and Thomas Fickling's Simon with Digital Spy.
"Having climbed mountain peaks, grappled with his innermost fears and trudged through endless cold, Simon Swift finds himself faced with the warm golden glow of the Goddess Yanesh," said The Phoenix.
"Is this the week that Simon finally finds answers to all of his questions? Or does this mischievous Goddess have other plans?"
The Phoenix #90 will also feature Zara's Masterpiece, a family reunion for Pig in Bunny vs Monkey, an appearance by George Washington in Corpse Talk, a monster in Evil Emperor Penguin, Professor Panels and Pencil Gibbon, a spot of the Midas touch in Useleus and Doogan getting ever closer to his destination in The Dangerous Adventures of Von Doogan.
The Phoenix #90 will arrive online, through the iPad app and in stores (for £2.99) from tomorrow (September 21).
