DC Comics has announced an adaptation of an unproduced episode of the 1960s Batman television show by Harlan Ellison.
The episode of the Adam West series, which was to feature Two-Face, will arrive in the digital-first Batman '66 comic.
Writer Len Wein, penciller Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez and inker Joe Prado will work on the story, which was announced at San Diego Comic-Con International (via CBR).
Although Clint Eastwood was allegedly wanted for the role, Harvey Dent's villainous alter ego Two-Face was ultimately deemed too gruesome for the kids' show.
IDW recently launched a Star Trek comic adapting Ellison's script for 'City on the Edge of Forever'.
Batman '66: The Lost Episode will debut in November.
