A new set of Doctor Who comics has been announced.
BBC Worldwide has signed a new deal with Titan Comics that will provide fans with brand new stories featuring the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors.
Creative and production teams will be announced in the following weeks, with the first issues to be released later this year.
IDW Publishing most recently held the licence for Doctor Who comics.
Its most recent comics included the Doctor Who 50th anniversary one-shot and Doctor Who Special 2013 #1, written by Paul Cornell, which was its final release from the property.
The next season of Doctor Who is currently is production, and will star Peter Capaldi as the newly regenerated Twelfth Doctor. It is scheduled to air in late 2014.
