Microsoft has revealed the free goodies you'll be getting on Xbox One and Xbox 360 this October with Games with Gold.

As per usual, there are four games up for grabs - two Xbox One-only titles and two Xbox 360 titles that you can play on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

For Xbox One, there's the excellent ID@Xbox games Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings for the whole of October and The Escapists, available from October 16 to November 15.

Then for the Xbox 360 (and Xbox One via backwards compatibility), you've got off-road racer MX vs ATV Reflex from October 1 to 15, and survival game I Am Alive from October 16 to 31.

Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings isn't a serious baseball sim, as you might expect, but a friendly, lighthearted take that amps up the fun.

MX vs ATV Reflex is an off-road racer with a focus on the Rider Reflex control system that lets you lean tighter into turns, pull off spins and slides, as well as totally ace landings.

I Am Alive, on the other hand, sees you explore a desolate city in an attempt to survive long enough to find your family.
