A new Activity Feed showcases player activity across all Xbox platforms such as photos, Achievements, video clips and broadcasts from 360 through to Xbox One and Windows 10.
Similarly, Xbox 360 owners will finally see what Xbox One and Windows 10 players are up to from their friends' feeds.
Other small tweaks and updates include the ability to connect to networks that require Terms of Use to access (such as hotels, hospitals and other public areas), the ability to redeem a code direct from a message, Microsoft Movies & TV and Groove Music support, and more visible access to your account balance.
