FIFA 16 has soared to the top of the all-format gaming chart, despite a 7% drop in week-one sales.

EA's latest football release sold 7% fewer physical copies than FIFA 15, and experienced a 4% drop in revenue.

Approximately 45% of all copies were purchased on PS4, compared to 36% on Xbox One and a combined 19% on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Destiny: The Taken King drops down to second, Forza Motorsport 6 falls to third, while Skylanders Superchargers enters the chart at four.

Metal Gear 5, PES 2016, Mad Max, GTA 5, Call of Duty: Ghosts and LEGO Jurassic World also appear in the top ten.

Elsewhere, Blood Bowl 2 enters the chart at 15, while Rugby World Cup 2015 makes an appearance at 18.
