Ever fancied yourself as a bit of a Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield? Then this ace Resident Evil Escape Experience could be just the thing for you.

What to Read Next

As part of the series' 20th anniversary, Capcom has teamed up with iam8bit to bring the franchise to life in terrifying fashion with the interactive escape room, containing nods to various Resident Evil games and the upcoming Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

The experience will see groups of up to six people test their skills against difficult puzzles, with tickets costing $35 per person.

Sadly, it's only taking place in iam8bit's Los Angeles office for a limited three-week run from October 20 to November 6, so any dreams of running away from zombies for UK residents might have to wait just a bit longer.

There will also be an art gallery celebrating all things Resident Evil, with limited edition prints of the art and other exclusive merchandise on sale. That is if you manage to escape the zombies.

We tried out Resident Evil 7: Biohazard back in August and got the living crap scared out of us by Lantern Lady, so if that small sample is anything to go by, the escape experience and the game should be a treat. A horrifying treat.

However, it won't be taking any more of our money after we buy it as Capcom confirmed that the game won't feature microtransactions. Fans had become concerned when pre-order DLC was revealed, some of which looked like it belonged to an in-game marketplace.

Biohazard is set to scare gamers worldwide on January 4, 2017.
