Pokemon fans, mark your calendars for February 27.
That's when the next official Pokemon Day will be held, kicking off a yearlong celebration to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the famed media franchise.
2016 will be packed with Pokemon-related content such as monthly Pokemon distributions, special events, new products and more.
At least two new games will be released as well, including the mobile title Pokemon GO and the arcade-style fighting game Pokken Tournament.
In addition, Pokemon: The First Movie, Pokemon: The Movie 2000 and Pokemon 3: The Movie will be digitally remastered and re-released.
February 27 is also the day that Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow will become available on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console service for the first time.
