The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes has been out in the wild for a week so far.

But if you're still on the fence about purchasing the Nintendo 3DS game, you can try out its newly-released demo - which is available now as a free download via the Nintendo eShop.

The demo allows you to experience online co-op play on October 31, November 7 and November 14 between 8am and 1pm UK time.

You can also team up with two friends via local play anytime to play through a dungeon. However, modes such as single-player and Download Play aren't offered in the demo.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, three players team up - each as Link - to cooperatively make their way through dungeons and battle bosses.

It also introduces a 'Totem' mechanic, which enables the Links to stack on top of each other - allowing them to reach higher grounds and solve puzzles.
