Nintendo fans will be happy to know that the smaller New 3DS model is finally coming to North America.
The more compact system will launch in the US on September 25 as part of a special bundle featuring Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, two cover plates and one amiibo card.
A similar bundle was previously announced for Europe, where it will debut on October 2.
The New 3DS joins New 3DS XL, which has been available in North America since February 13. Speaking of which, Nintendo also announced a 'Hyrule Edition' New 3DS XL for the region.
The gold-colored Zelda-themed device will launch exclusively in GameStop stores on October 30, shortly after the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes.
"More than 15 million systems in the Nintendo 3DS family have been sold in the US alone," said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of sales & marketing.
