Super Smash Bros 3DS's single player mode has been teased.

Game director Masahiro Sakurai revealed the mode with a new image on Miiverse by asking: "Where Am I?"

Sakurai clarified that both the 3DS and Wii U Super Smash Bros games "do not feature a story more like The Subspace Emissary", suggesting a new single player mode entirely.

The latest character to be confirmed for the Nintendo mascot brawler is Kirby villain King Dedede.

Nintendo recently confirmed that each version of the game will contain a different collection of unlockable figurines and trophies.

Super Smash Bros will be released in 2014, although Nintendo has denied plans to launch it in spring.
