Updated story: Hideo Kojima has issued a statement for the first time this week following reports he will leave the company this year.
The quotes reiterate Konami's earlier comments that he is involved in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's development, but doesn't refute a report he will leave the publisher following its completion.
"I want to reassure fans that I am 100% involved and will continue working on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain; I'm determined to make it the greatest game I've directed to date. Don't miss it!"
Original story: Konami has started recruiting for a new Metal Gear game after Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
Following reports that Hideo Kojima plans to depart the company later this year, the publisher said that he will be involved in The Phantom Pain's development but it has "already resolved" to make a new game.
"The latest title in the Metal Gear series, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, (below, MGSV: TPP), will be released as planned starting on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in North America, Latin America, and Europe, followed by Japan and Asia on Wednesday, September 2," read the statement.

A report this week suggested that Hideo Kojima plans to depart the company later this year have led to changes at the studio, restricting staff access to corporate internet, phone and email.
The team will continue to work on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, before departing in December.
The rumours began when Kojima branding started to be removed from the game and his studio.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will make its PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 debut on September 1. A PC version will be released on September 15.
