Having a break from shooting squeaky aliens in space, Master Chief turned up at London's O2 arena today, just in time for tomorrow's release of Halo 5: Guardians.

In a series of photos that make a Halo movie look like a really, really good idea, we see Master Chief standing near an explosion looking cool, running while looking cool, walking near a Covenant Banshee and looking a bit cool, and facing off with Spartan Locke near the Thames, both of them looking pretty damn cool.

It's basically an excuse to do the world's best cosplay and blow some stuff up, but the pictures are fun to look at.

This celebration of all things Halo carries on tonight when Londoners get to celebrate the game's launch at the Camden Roundhouse.

There's also giveaways, appearances from special guests and much more.
