The Xbox versions of Minecraft will soon be treated to new content based on Halo 5: Guardians.
Starting October 23, Minecraft users on Xbox One and Xbox 360 can play as Halo's Master Chief along with Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris from the upcoming shooter.

The new content is free to those who own the 'Minecraft: Halo Edition' mash-up pack. It also includes all of the content from the original pack for first-time purchasers.
The mash-up pack features a Halo-themed texture set, themed menus and user interface, craftable items and 31 music tracks across the Halo franchise.
Also included are 40 character skins, pre-made worlds such as Silent Cartographer, Sandtrap, Valhalla, Blackout, Guardian and Blood Gulch, and Halo vehicles and features.
