It's Sony's turn to shine after this afternoon's Xbox press briefing. The PlayStation event is scheduled to begin streaming at 6pm today (UK time).

What can we expect from the event? Sony has released a number of cryptic trailers filled with snowflakes and blood, leading to speculation that it plans to re-reveal Until Dawn. Our guess is that it will come with added Project Morpheus support.

Meanwhile, a reportedly-leaked listing suggested that Journey and Unfinished Swan could be at the show, both coming to PS4. In any case, expect new games tonight.

19:11Thought we might get one more announcement, but it looks like that's our lot. An impressively concise presentation by Sony. I was expecting at least another hour of stats.
19:10It features lots of lush greenery, even more animals and a giant woman emerging from a tree...sold!
19:09It's called Wild and looks hugely ambitious!
19:08The game features an open-world with dynamic weather and seasons, as well as the ability to play as any living creature.
19:07Former Ubisoft man Michel Ancel (the creator of Rayman) is out to unveil his new studio's first game.
19:06Housemarque's new game is up next. It's a completely new franchise called Alienation. It's played from a top-down, isometric perspective and features lots of guns.
19:03The touchpad will be used to interact with the world in all kind of innovative new ways. We're so pleased this franchise hasn't been shelved, although we would also like to see it return to Vita.
19:01Among other things, the DualShock 4 will be used to light the world, while the speaker will make it seem like items are stuck in the controller.
19:00Are we getting a new Tearaway? Absolutely love that game, but it looks like the new Tearaway is for PS4 instead.
18:58In its defence, Driveclub was always about forming clubs, we're just a bit sick of hearing about racing games and their community and social features!
18:57Driveclub is the latest driving game to go all social. Evolution is talking about its online features, before launching into a speech about the dynamic weather. The dynamic weather means that no two races will ever be the same.
18:55You'll remember that it was first announced at gamescom two years ago, but went quiet over the past 12 months or so. It's no longer a Move game, and has instead been redesigned for the DualShock 4.
18:52It's official, Until Dawn is back and is now a PS4 exclusive.

18:50My video feed seems to be cutting out just as we're getting to PlayStation Now. It's coming to Europe in 2015, with the first beta taking place in the UK.
18:48We were just shown "actual" reactions from fans who played some sort of new horror game called PT. We don't know much else, although we suspect those reactions might have been faked.

18:27A cinematic trailer for a game called Hellblade is up next. We have no idea either, but it looks like it's related to Heavenly Sword and it's made by Ninja Theory.
18:25It's official, DayZ is coming to PS4! That's pretty big news, perhaps even on par with Microsoft's Tomb Raider announcement. I wonder if it's exclusive to Sony platforms?

18:22Sony aren't letting up on the trailers. First we see a bit more of Volume and then a video for HollowPoint by Ruffian and Paradox.
18:19The Thomas Was Alone creator describes it as an old-school stealth game that will launch first for PS4, PS3 and Vita next year.
