Square Enix has casually announced that Final Fantasy XII is getting a PlayStation 4 makeover in 2017.

Rumours of a Final Fantasy XII PS4 release surfaced after Final Fantasy Distant Worlds conductor Arnie Roth listed it as one of the projects he was working on. Presumably this means The Zodiac Age has a new soundtrack.
Final Fantasy XII made its PS2 debut back in 2006. The game was notable for featuring real-time, single-character-controlled combat that was more tactical than previous games.
It all revolves around a young adventurer called Vaan, who dreams of becoming a sky pirate.
Vaan meets the princess of Dalmasca Ashe, who is caught up in a war between the kingdoms of Rozarria and Archadia.
