You better start saving your gil, because these Final Fantasy XV outfits cost a lot more than your average gaming merch.

Japanese fashion house Roen has been designing outfits for the game ever since it was known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

Not content with designing garb for virtual fashionistas, however, Roen is now flogging its Final Fantasy XV gear for real.

But as Kotaku points out, these clothes don't come cheap.

If you want to dress up like Noctis, then you're going to have to pay around £1,009 for his jacket thingy, roughly £572 for his cropped trousers, £134 for his sheepskin gloves and another 20 quid for the socks. And considering Roen is based in Japan, you're going to have to shell out even more on shipping and import tax.

Prompto's gear, meanwhile, will cost you about £1,481 for the vest, £183 for the gloves and another £572 for the trousers.

Needless to say, you wouldn't want to fight any monsters wearing this stuff.

Final Fantasy XV was recently given a September 30 release date on Xbox One and PS4.

A demo is also available for the long-awaited sequel and is free to all on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with no purchase needed.

Featuring an original story set in a fragmented dreamscape, Platinum Demo - Final Fantasy XV can be downloaded now. It follows previous demo 'Episode Duscae', which came with copies of Final Fantasy Type-0.
