Call of Duty: Ghosts has been confirmed as a next-gen launch title.
The upcoming Call of Duty release will launch alongside the Xbox One in November and with the PS4 during the holiday season.
Launch plans were confirmed by Infinity Ward's Mark Rubin, who also teased a Wii U release in an interview with Gamespot (via CVG).
Speaking about launch dates and platforms, Rubin said: "Right now, we've only announced current-gen and PC as being November 5."
When asked whether the Wii U release counts as current or next-gen, Rubin added: "It's probably in the next-gen bin, but we're not actually talking about Wii U yet because we want to keep it mysterious. It's PR guys, it's not my fault."
Announced during the Xbox One reveal earlier this month, Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature timed exclusive downloadable content on the new platform.
