And now one inventor from the UK has set his mind and hands to recreating the Assassin Gauntlet from Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Colin Furze is going to post four videos on YouTube, one a week, showing his process as he begins with the rope launcher and moves on to the hidden blade. Here's the first video:
Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set in London during the Industrial Revolution, and will allow gamers to play as twin Master Assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye.
The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 23 and on Windows PC on November 19.
The franchise is expanding into film as well, with Michael Fassbender starring as the eponymous Assassin.
