Rumours of a 2016 release for Titanfall 2 are really starting to ramp up.
A now deleted Reddit post suggests the shooter will make its debut in October, which would back up previous comments made by EA to investors.
According to Eurogamer, the leak also points towards some interesting new abilities.
Turns out Titanfall 2 could feature a grapple hook that lets players navigate the terrain and even pull opponents out of the air. This could be that top-secret pilot ability Respawn mentioned.
A former Respawn employee's LinkedIn page said they had "successfully prototyped a new pilot ability (top secret!) which was well received by the team and should make it into the final game". Sounds like the perfect fit.
According to the leak, the game is also said to contain bigger maps than the original, although that might just mean more players.

The game was given its first official teaser trailer last month. It will be fully showcased on June 12 during the EA Play event at E3 2016 .
Unlike the first game, the Titanfall sequel will be released on PS4, which should give it a sizeable sales boost.
