Strafe, the crowdfunded love letter to mid-90s first-person shooters, which raised over $200,000 last year, has a new trailed to celebrate a year since the game's funding drive ended.
It is, frankly, silly and funny, conjuring up memories not just of the FPS games it draws influence from, but also the much-loved Gears of War Mad World trailer from a decade ago.
Except this time it's with Smash Mouth's All Star, because everything in the 90s was soundtracked by Smash Mouth.
If you missed Strafe when it first hit Kickstarter, let us fill you in. It's a first-person shooter in the style of 1996 - the year of Duke Nukem 3D and Quake, among other stone cold classics.
Before we had Call of Duty's whack-a-mole and Half Life's cinematic world building, we had games where you circle-strafed everything and shot a hell of a lot of enemies. Strafe, as the name suggests, has you doing just that all over again.
Additionally, Strafe will be getting a livestream at 7pm PST, though that's 3am GMT so you might not be able to stay awake for it.
Check out the game's site to see what kind of vibe developer Pixel Titans is going for.
