Far Cry Primal's new trailer gives us a taste of the brutality of life in its primitive world - a world where death is a common, sudden occurrence, and where mankind sits at the bottom of the food chain.
We get a glimpse of many of the protagonist's abilities, a man whose proficiency with a bow and the pointy end of a spear is second only to his connection with animals, which he can handily coax into killing dudes. He even has an owl that's basically a UAV.
We see him riding a bear, commanding an owl to pluck out a guy's eyes and even getting a wild dog to rear its leg over an enemy corpse. Classy.
The trailer also gives us a look into the rival tribes, and a bit of insight into your character's motivations - deep down, don't we all just want a better village?
It's mostly just a lot of killing, though, but that is what we signed up for: it's still Far Cry, after all.
