If you're interested in taking EVE: Valkyrie out for a spin, you might be able to participate in its upcoming alpha phase.
Fans who own the Oculus Rift DK2 headset can now sign up for the consumer testing programme, which begins on January 18.
According to developer CCP Games, new players will be admitted in waves, starting before the first test.
EVE: Valkyrie is bundled with pre-orders of the Oculus Rift, which opened earlier today (January 6). The headset will start shipping at the end of March for £500.
The game will also be a launch title for Sony's PlayStation VR later this year.
EVE: Valkyrie is described as an "accessible and immersive experience" that enables players to feel what it's like to be a spaceship pilot in the middle of combat.
