A brand-new franchise by the name of "Days Gone" could be in the works at Sony.
Sony Computer Entertainment America filed a trademark for the unannounced title on December 28 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
The trademark (via DualShockers) falls under Class 9 and Class 41, which identify game software and online game software, respectively.
Sony has yet to comment on Days Gone or whether it entails a new property or an established franchise.
It is also unclear as to which platform the project pertains to, though PlayStation 4 seems to be a fair guess.
In related news, Sony is still working on resolving recent issues with the PlayStation Network (PSN).
