Updated story: Street Fighter 5 has been officially announced by Capcom at PlayStation Experience.
Series producer Yoshinori Ono revealed both PS4 and PC players can fight each other in multiplayer online, uniting their player bases.
Ono also reiterated a previous confirmation it would be a permanent exclusive on Sony's console.

The Street Fighter studio appeared to accidentally post a teaser trailer on its YouTube channel, before setting the video to private.
According to the trailer, the upcoming brawler will be released exclusively on PS4 and PC.

The game is likely to be unveiled in full at this weekend's PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas.
Series producer Yoshinori Ono is attending the event, having previously revealed that the game is in the early stages of development.
Ono has also said that the game will not utilise a pay to win model.
Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano previously suggested that Street Fighter 5 wouldn't be released until 2018.
