This week saw Dark Souls 2 scoop the coveted 'Game of the Year' award at yesterday's (October 24) 32nd annual Golden Joysticks, while open-world survival title DayZ was voted 'Best Original Game' in association with Digital Spy.
In other news, Titanfall announced plans to release a major update, Codemasters unveiled Micro Machines spiritual successor Toybox Turbos, while Rockstar confirmed plans to release a HD remake of GTA: San Andreas for Xbox 360.
