By Rich Sommer has reportedly signed up to appear in Ugly Betty.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Sommer, who plays Harry Crane in Mad Men, will be a new love interest for Betty.
Sources have claimed that he will take on the role of a fireman called Jimmy who goes on "the date from hell" with the show's heroine.
Sommer's first episode is due to air in March.
