The X-Files returns to Fox: 6 things the revived series must deliver

In an interview with X-Files News, Carter said it is possible that Skinner and Agents Reyes and Doggett could appear in the six new episodes.

"I have ideas for everyone," Carter teased. "Their availability is subject to their regular paying jobs. Of course, I'd like to bring everyone possible back, but it's who's going to fit into the story and who's available."

Carter went on to promise a mix of "some obvious choices" and "some surprises" for the upcoming miniseries.
