Mike Birbiglia is joining the cast of Orange Is the New Black.
The stand-up comedian will appear in an unspecified role in the Netflix comedy's third season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Birbiglia previously starred in the semi-autobiographical film Sleepwalk With Me and has also appeared in HBO's Girls.
He will appear with Orange Is the New Black's other new cast members Blair Brown and Mary Steenburgen.
Laura Prepon is also returning full-time as Piper Chapman's (Taylor Schilling) ex-girlfriend Alex Vause in season three.
Orange Is the New Black is competing in the Outstanding Comedy Series category at the Primetime Emmy Awards this month, with multiple cast members also earning individual nominations.
Netflix premieres season three in 2015.
