Former Heroes star Masi Oka is to guest star in Heroes Reborn.
The actor will reprise his role as computer programmer Hiro when the spinoff returns in autumn.
Oka's storyline will span a multi-episode arc.
"I'm excited to return to my Heroes roots," said Oka, who is currently starring in CBS's Hawaii Five-0.
"Hiro Nakamura was such an inspirational role to play, and I'm hoping the fans will enjoy seeing him back on TV."
Franchise creator Tim Kring added: "We are thrilled to have Masi back in the Heroes family.

Jack Coleman is also returning as his former character Noah Bennett. NBC has confirmed that other original stars from Heroes are likely to return for the thirteen-part series.
