Secrets and Lies has found its new lead actor: Michael Ealy is replacing the recently-departed Ryan Phillippe in season two.
Ealy, who previously starred in The Following, will appear in the ABC drama's new episodes as Eric Warner, after Phillippe revealed last month that he wouldn't be back.
Eric is a newlywed whose wife Kate is murdered at a party honouring his father's retirement, according to Deadline.
Eric seeks help from Juliette Lewis's Detective Andrea Cornell to get to the bottom of his wife's death.
Actress Lewis is the only star from season one who's returning for the next run.
ABC ordered a second season of the ten-episode drama series earlier this year.
Secrets and Lies made its debut in March as a US remake of a popular Australian series of the same name.
