After over a year of teasing, DC have finally officially unveiled details of their new streaming service.

DC Universe will offer a roster of new DC content, including the much-anticipated Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Young Justice: Outsiders and Harley Quinn series.

There will also be loads of classic DC shows, including: Lois and Clark, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Birds of Prey, Constantine, Static Shock the Flash series from the '90s and the Wonder Woman series from the '70s with Lynda Carter.

Plus, you'll be able to stream vintage DC movies like The Dark Knight and the Christopher Reeve-starring Superman movies.

That's not the only thing, however, as the subscription service will also include thousands of DC comics, from the first 1938 Action Comics to 2011's Justice League and 2013's Harley Quinn.

What to Read Next

There will also be access to a range of collectibles, such as all-new six-inch Justice League Animated action figures, as well as social connections to other members to share playlists and contribute to forums.

Members' benefits will be available too, including the chance to win premium awards and first-chance access to events, while members can also contribute to the expansive DC encyclopaedia.

"DC Universe is so much more than a streaming service," said Jim Lee, chief creative officer and publisher, DC Entertainment.

"It's a welcoming place for everyone to immerse themselves in their own level of DC fandom, with the epic characters, stories, and experiences they have come to expect from DC.

"We are investing in and creating original, high-quality shows including the new Titans series, and curating the most beloved nostalgic content, while at the same time elevating the comic reading experience to new heights. Nothing this robust has ever been offered to fans before."

You can sign up to a beta version today, which will go live in August before the whole thing is launched later this year.
