The Good Place is finally going to be broadcast on television in the UK – and it's coming soon.
The acclaimed sitcom is available to watch in the UK for Netflix subscribers, but Channel 4 has announced that for people who don't have a subscription, they can see what the fuss is about when it debuts on E4 before the year is out.
Starring Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, The Good Place launches on December 13 at 9pm.
The comedy follows the morally questionable Eleanor Shellstrop, played by Bell, who finds herself in the titular 'Good Place', a heaven-like world in the afterlife. She quickly realises that there has been an identity mix-up and she does not belong, and so attempts to cover up the truth to avoid being sent to the 'Bad Place'.
Now in its third season, The Good Place also stars William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D'Arcy Carden, and Manny Jacinto.
Former T4 presenter Jamil, who plays Eleanor's fellow Good Place resident Tahani Al-Jamil, recently admitted that she was initially unsure about being on the show because she was worried about "making an absolute tit of myself in front of the entire world".

That didn't turn out to be the case, though – because she, and the rest of the cast for that matter, is amazing on the show.
The Good Place airs on NBC in the US and can be streamed on Netflix in the UK.
