Gotham looks to be going out in style, as set pictures of the series finale suggest longtime Batman fans will be rewarded with glimpses of a couple of classic costumes.

The behind-the-scenes images sees Cory Michael Smith, who plays Edward Nygma / The Riddler, and Robin Lord Taylor, who plays Oswald Cobblepot / The Penguin, possibly up to no good and getting themselves into trouble.

But what's particularly striking is that the two iconic villains are wearing outfits that resemble their final costumes.

The Riddler and The Penguin aren't the only characters who look to be fulfilling their destinies. A previous set picture showed actor David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne wearing a new armoured and upgraded costume which shares an early resemblance to the Batsuit.

And we've also had a glimpse at iconic DC villain Bane (played by Shane West), who is joining the show for the final run of episodes.
