Grey's Anatomy season 15 is almost upon us, and the promo has revealed a sneak peek at a potential new romance for Meredith (Ellen Pompeo).
As well as promising new doctors and "juicy drama", the preview of the two-hour-long premiere shows Meredith in bed with DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti).

After Pompeo spoke about not wanting all of "Meredith's adventures to be romantic ones", the new season will see Meredith go through a personal arc that involves her family background – but it seems she won't be able to avoid at least one lusty hook-up.
Despite stating that Meredith will be taking more time to focus on motherhood in the upcoming season, showrunner Krista Vernoff has confirmed that she will have a new love interest in what has been described as the "Season of Love".
But is all as it seems in this new trailer? Are Meredith and DeLuca really going to hook up? Don't rule out some sort of dream sequence / fantasy / misdirection just yet – this is Grey's after all...

Along with Meredith and DeLuca, fellow characters Justin Chambers (Alex Karev), Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey), James Pickens Jr (Richard Webber), Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt), Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery), Caterina Scorsone (Amelia Shepherd), Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) and Kelly McCreary (Maggie Pierce) will all be returning.
Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and April Kepner (Sarah Drew) won't be returning, however, following their controversial exits from the show in season 14.
Grey's Anatomy's record-breaking season 15 will air its super-sized, two-hour premiere episode on Thursday, September 27 in the US on ABC. The show airs on Sky Witness in the UK.
