The Creative Arts Emmy Awards are over for another year and we've had some pretty high-profile winners.

Game of Thrones, Black Mirror and Queer Eye all won categories over the weekend, with the HBO fantasy epic taking home seven out of 15 categories it was nominated in.

Queer Eye was awarded the statuette for Outstanding Structured Reality Program.

Overall, Game of Thrones and Saturday Night Live took home the most awards with seven each, while John Legend's Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert and Parts Unknown starring the late Anthony Bourdain collected five trophies.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace and RuPaul's Drag Race snagged four, and The Crown, The Handmaid's Tale, Westworld, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Atlanta all got three each.

Thrones' mammoth haul contributed to HBO picking up 17 trophies – one ahead of Netflix with 16 wins, and two ahead of NBC with 15.

Elsewhere, the Emmys made progress once again in the diversity stakes when it awarded all four guest actor awards to black performers.

Tiffany Haddish won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for hosting Saturday Night Live, Samira Wiley won Guest Actress in a Drama for The Handmaid's Tale, Katt Williams won Guest Actor in a Comedy for Atlanta, and Ron Cephas Jones won Guest Actor in a Drama for This Is Us.
