After a turbulent start to season six, it was confirmed earlier this year that Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear would be joining the cast of House of Cards.
And now, ahead of the drama's November premiere, Digital Spy can finally give you a UK exclusive glimpse of their characters in action in these brand new photos.
What to Read Next
While details of Diane and Greg's characters are scarce – we know they're brother and sister – we can at least glean they're set to have a close relationship with Claire Underwood.
We can also now confirm that Diane is playing Annette Shepherd, with Greg playing Bill Shepherd.
The siblings inherited a big industrial firm called Shepherd Unlimited and according to Netflix, their "family foundations exert a powerful behind-the-scenes force in the American political landscape".
Both Annette and Bill have a shared vision for the USA's future – and of course, they have got a complicated history with Underwoods.
And Cody Fern, who you'll soon get to see in American Horror Story: Apocalypse, will play Annette's extremely ambitious (and fiercely devoted) son Duncan Shepherd, who Netflix says will represent "the next generation of DC power players".
House of Cards season six will follow Robin Wright as the now-President Claire Underwood, after she betrayed husband Frank to become leader of the free world at the end of season five.
The final season will not feature Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood, following numerous allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

In light of the allegations, Netflix trimmed down its final season from 13 episodes to eight, scrapping two already-filmed episodes that put Spacey's character front and centre.
Speaking about her former co-star's dismissal, Robin admitted in a recent interview that she "[didn't] know how to comment" on whether Netflix's decision to fire Spacey was right.
"But I think at that time, the shock was so intense all over the nation for many reasons," she continued. "I think that everybody felt it was respectful to back off.
"I think we were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened. We forged ahead and we were so thankful we were able to complete the series as planned."
House of Cards returns to Netflix on Friday, November 2.
