If you were hoping Desperate Housewives could join the trend of TV shows being revived, you might want to forget about it.
Appearing on today's (March 7) Loose Women to talk about her upcoming Bake Off appearance, Hatcher was asked by the panel if she would ever consider a return to Wisteria Lane. "I'd be the first person. I never wanted it to be over. I love those characters," she enthused.
However, she quickly crushed any hopes of a revival when quizzed about the chances of the show making a comeback.
"I don't think they're very good. Just because of the creators. It's not the women. I think the women would probably all do it," Hatcher explained, adding that while the cast may not always stay in touch, they're "very supportive of everything that we're all off and doing".
So we might just have to make do with Loose Women's take on the series: Desperate Women.
Hatcher isn't the first Desperate Housewives cast member to shut down any talk of a revival as Eva Longoria previously said it was unlikely. "We fully explored the range of each character and Marc [Cherry] always says that there's really not much more to tell," she noted.
What to Read Next
That's not stopped Hatcher in the past from championing a movie version of Desperate Housewives as a reward for the fans.
"I love the fans of the show so much, and they don't seem to be done with those characters. I think [a movie] would be great for them. If a script ever came across my lap, I would read it, hoping that it would work out, but I don't really see that happening," she said in 2014.
