The world of animation and kids shows can be a cutthroat place – no matter how passionate the online fanbase is, if a show doesn't deliver on ad revenue and (especially) toy sales then networks and distributors are quick to pull the plug.

Now it looks like we've got a solid idea of when we expect to catch up with our favourite teen heroes, thanks to writer and animation legend Greg Weisman.
Responding to a fan's query about the show returning on Boxing Day 2018, Weisman said: "Too precise. All I know for sure is fourth quarter 2018."
So, there we go then. Just another year (ish) to go!
One big change this time around is that Young Justice won't be coming back to Cartoon Network, but Warner Bros and DC's new streaming service, which is set to launch next year.
Subtitled Outsider, season three is set to follow our teen heroes – including Robin, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Superboy and Aqualad — as they carry out missions under the guidance of the Justice League and get wrapped up in a plot involving meta-human trafficking and a galaxy-spanning genetic arms race.
As well as the long-awaited revival of Young Justice, this as-yet-unnamed streaming service is going to feature the live-action adaptation Titans.
Arrowverse producer Greg Berlanti is involved, although we don't know yet if it's going to connect to DC's super hero universe as of yet.
