You'll be seeing a lot less of Dr Ben Warren on Grey's Anatomy soon, as Jason George will no longer be a series regular.
Don't worry, though. George will still be part of the Grey's universe – his services are instead required for the upcoming firefighter spin-off, which focuses on a "group of heroic Seattle firefighters... in their personal and professional lives".
Ben will be a regular character on the offshoot series when it begins production (via The Hollywood Reporter). Until then, the actor remains a series regular on Grey's Anatomy for the 14th season.

And it seems probable that Ben will check in with the gang at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital from time to time after he makes his move.
This change is the latest in a fairly notable cast shake-up for this coming season.

We already knew that Dr Stephanie Edwards, played by Jerrika Hinton, has left the show after she quit her job in the explosive season 13 finale, while Tessa Ferrer isn't expected to be back as Dr Leah Murphy.
Dr Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) is also gone – and there are no plans for her to return.
Abigail Spencer has joined the cast as Dr Owen Hunt's sister Megan, in a role that was originally played by Bridget Regan.
One character who is definitely not making a comeback despite some speculation is popular character Dr Callie Torres, played by Sara Ramirez.
"There are no plans at the moment. We love her and we miss her, [but] there's been no discussion of it," executive producer Debbie Allen recently told TVLine.

Grey's Anatomy returns to ABC in the US on September 28. Sky Living and NOW TV air the show in the UK, with a return date for season 14 yet to be announced.
