UK audiences will finally be able to see if the TV remake of Snatch deserved the mixed reviews it received.

What to Read Next

The 10-episode series will premiere on AMC in the UK on October 31 at 10pm, exclusively to BT customers, with the full box set available on demand to BT TV customers after the premiere.

Loosely based on Guy Ritchie's gangster caper, Snatch follows a group of young hustlers who stumble on a truck load of stolen gold bullion and quickly find themselves in the high stakes world of organised crime.

Among them are Harry Potter's Ron Weasley, AKA Rupert Grint, The Musketeers' Luke Pasqualino and Scream Queens' Lucien Laviscount, with the series also starring Dougray Scott and Hustle's Marc Warren.

Back in April, Sony Pictures Television's US streaming network Crackle picked up a second season of the TV spin-off.

"Rupert, Luke and the rest of the cast have created memorable characters who truly resonated with our viewers," Crackle's general manager Eric Berger enthused. "We look forward to following their adventures in season two of Snatch."

Last year, original Snatch star Stephen Graham joked to Digital Spy that he was "steering well clear" of the TV spin-off, though added that he'll give the first episode a watch.

"I hope it works for them, but personally there was that big issue when Shane Meadows said, 'I'm going to turn This Is England into a TV series', and I was like, 'You can't do that'," Stephen said.

"But because it was Shane, he can do what he wants and it was an honour. So it worked in that sense and that was a completely different entity.

Snatch premieres on October 31 on AMC in the UK.
