It looks like Gordon Ramsay is branching out from his main career as reality-TV ranter-in-chief and taking a wander down Ross Kemp's dimly-lit documentary street by fronting an ITV investigation into the Colombian drug trade.
The TV chef was photographed in a bulletproof vest next to a military-style van marked 'Policia' on London's Wimbledon Common last month, although ITV insists this was only for the series trailer and the actual documentary was filmed in Colombia earlier this year.
While it may just have been more convenient and cost-effective to shoot the teaser near home, Ramsay did admit his concerns publicly about filming in one of the world's most dangerous countries.
"I've been in a safety briefing all morning for something pretty hostile – we're going into Colombia," Ramsay told the Scottish Mail on Sunday. "They're putting me under a trauma test for the sake of being shot and being kidnapped."
The two-part documentary is on ITV sometime this autumn.
