So! We've just about got our breath back from witnessing a truly epic episode of Game of Thrones.

It was already known that tonight's showing was going to be the shortest of the season, coming in at around 50 minutes, but that clearly didn't prepare us for what a barnstormer we were in for (because we were good and didn't spoil it by exposing ourselves tothose leaks).

And, well, it seems everyone watching was floored by what they saw too, as seven seasons of dragon tension was finally unleashed on a battle field full of quivering Lannister troops.

Of course, more than that outrageous ending went down, and Digital Spy kept a track on the action online as people reacted to what they saw. Here's what everyone was saying...

Straight off the bat, Bran "Three-Eyed Raven" Stark was continuing to be his weird self, and people were not here for it:

There was FINALLY a Stark reunion between Bran, Sansa and Arya – and people couldn't deal:

Arya took on Brienne in a sparring match and it was GoT gold:

But then – it finally happened...

Daenerys came soaring into battle on Drogon, flanked by an army of Dothraki:

We can all surely agree it was an epic episode. The best ever, perhaps? Some people certainly thought so:

But with huge questions to be answered on what state Jaime Lannister is in – and with the episode being 10 minutes shorter – the cliffhanger was a cause of many viewers' frustration:
