Idris Elba is a handsome man. This is an irrefutable fact, like "the sky is blue" or "the Earth is round". He is so handsome that he could probably do something as dull as read the dictionary aloud and you would still feel strangely aroused.
He proved this on Monday's episode of The Tonight Show, when Jimmy Fallon had the Luther star participate in a Google Translate Songs segment.
Jimmy ran a few popular songs through Google Translate then translated them back into English, and naturally, the results were crazy. 'Baby Got Back' became 'The Baby Escaped', while 'I'll Make Love To You' became 'I'll Place Kindness On You'.
Because Idris is Idris, though, he was capable of making both of these songs sound kind of sexy, even as he had to sing lyrics like, "Shut your face, pray for dreams."
Whatever you say, Idris. Whatever you say.
