Netflix's House of Cards is now in its terrifying fifth season – and it looks like one key character has already met her maker...

Yep, Neve Campbell's LeAnn Harvey has been run off the road, with Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) watching on and commenting: "Sometimes you don't have to watch the whole movie to know how it ends."

However, we don't see LeAnn's body – only her wrecked car...

Speaking to EW, Campbell was asked if LeAnn is actually dead, to which she replied: "I don't think I can answer that question. I'm sorry."

Well that solves that then!

Still, she did open up about what role her character would play if she was alive...

"Truly, I have no idea what their plans are. We get excited about the scripts every time they come in and we're always sort of blindsided by things that occur in them. But I couldn't tell you what the plan will be," she explained.

Well that solves that then! (Again.)

Meanwhile, Frank Underwood Kevin Spacey previously claimed the current season is the "scariest" run yet.

Speaking to Late Night's Seth Meyers, he said: "There are people who watch the show, as an example, last year and thought, 'Oh that's crazy. That could never happen.'

"And then suddenly 18 months later it's like, 'Oh, wait a second. That actually could happen.' Or it is happening. I think that we're scarier than we've ever been before."
