'Someone, as you've never seen them before' is a bit of an overused phrase but seriously, this is Sir Ben Kingsley as you've NEVER seen him before.

The legendary actor is of course famous for playing dramatic roles in incredible films like Gandhi and Schindler's List, as well as villains in not-so-great films like Prince of Persia and Thunderbirds.

But for Lip Sync Battle, Kingsley donned a ridiculously over-the-top costume to perform the classic hit 'Rocket Man' by Elton John. And we are loving it.

The exaggerated facial expressions and hand gestures are just perfect, aren't they?

Kingsley's Lip Sync Battle rival John Cho (!) looks totally stunned (and slightly aroused, as are we all) at the transformation.

Cho, who is famous for playing Mr. Sulu in the Star Trek reboot series, lip synced Rod Stewart's 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?' in a less flamboyant outfit of jeans and a T-shirt. Kingsley does some awkward dad dancing but he's not overly impressed - he knows he's got this one in the bag.

What to Read Next

See the bit where Cho grinds up against Kingsley - we told you he was turned on. It's the goatee.

Despite being known as A Serious Actor, Kingsley has certainly shown his comedy chops from time to time - remember that incredible scene in Iron Man 3 where you think he's playing The Mandarin and they completely pull the rug out from beneath us?

Lip Sync Battle airs on Spike in the US.
