A Blacklist spinoff featuring one of the show's most devious villains and X-Men's Famke Janssen is being considered by NBC.
Janssen is set to debut in The Blacklist on May 12 as Scottie Halsted, tipped as the mother of Elizabeth Keen's (Megan Boone) troubled husband Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold).
NBC would only tell The Wrap that no pilot order for a Scottie Halsted series has been made at this time – but wouldn't rule out a spinoff either.
If the pilot does move forward, it could also prominently feature Edi Gathegi, who has recurred on Blacklist this season as the devious Mr. Solomon (via TVLine).
The Blacklist regular Ryan Eggold will also have a major role on the spinoff - could he be leaving the main show?
Famke Janssen is best known for playing telekinetic mutant Jean Grey in the X-Men film series, and also played Liam Neeson's on-screen spouse in the Taken movies.
