If AMC renews Fear the Walking Dead for a third season, fans could be in for another bonus treat as well.
Flight 462 - a16-part spinoff from the AMC series - was released online from October 2015 and depicted a zombie outbreak on a plane.
It was previously announced that one character lucky enough to survive those events would be integrated into season two of Fear the Walking Dead.
Fear showrunner Dave Erickson has now confirmed to Digital Spy that "a couple of characters" from the spinoff might show up in the parent series.
What's more, a second web series - not directly related to Flight 462 - could bridge the gap between the upcoming second season of Fear and a prospective third run.
All that, plus we're getting a seventh season of The Walking Dead - now the proud father of an entire franchise. Not a bad time to be a zombie fan...

Season two of Fear the Walking Dead will premiere on Sunday, April 10 at 9/8c on AMC. In the UK, the series will simulcast on AMC UK at 2am, April 11, followed by a 9pm repeat.
